COPAG PLAYING CARDS
Coming from an industry leader is some of the highest quality,
100% plastic playing cards that we have ever seen! Many are very familiar
with the high quality of "the other" plastic playing cards...well it looks like
"the other" plastic playing cards has a little competition.
At first we were a little hesitant about the COPAG cards.
After we had our sample decks show up I took the decks home to start "the test."
While my wife and I played some rummy with Newt and his older sister, we gave
the other deck to Newt's younger siblings. The 3 young ones grabbed hold
of the deck and went about their normal card destructive ways. You see
with the 3 young ones (ages 1,3 and 5), most cards only last a few minutes
before they are bent, warped and basically destroyed! I figure it is
probably equivalent to 100 hours plus of normal card play. The shocking
part was, after they squashed the deck together to give them back to us, they
were still perfect! No bends, no tears and we could even wipe the candy
off. Unbelievable!
We were still not complete believers so we took the deck and put
it through the "plastic" deck test. We checked the snap...good. We
checked the bounce back from the shuffle...good. We bent the card back
from end to end...good. We even tested the texture and feel up against
"the other" plastic playing cards...awesome! Now it was time for the final
test, we bent the corner of the card. The card bent back, it did leave a
little crease, but the deck was still useable. When we took a card from
"the other" plastic playing cards and bent the corner back, the corner of the
card tore or snapped off.
At this point we were pretty much believers. We have
played with a lot of plastic decks, but this was one of the best. The
kicker that put it over the edge as the best was the price! Wow, at half
the price of "other" plastic cards COPAG was a winner. COPAG gets my vote!
Thanks for listening,

P.S. Please don't get me wrong, "the other" plastic
playing cards are still one of the best in quality. I have several decks
of them and will get more. All we are saying here is COPAG gives them a
good run for their money.

A LITTLE COPAG HISTORY:
|
The history of
COPAG is directly linked to the history
of card games in Brazil. Pioneer in the manufacturing of decks,
COPAG has been in this market since the
beginning of the century. Albino Gonçalves, a graphics designer, founded the
company in 1908 in the city of São Paulo and ever since
COPAG has kept its position as the
absolute leader in its market segment.

At the beginning the company was only
an importing enterprise. However, in 1918 it started manufacturing its own
decks. Today, from its modern and large industrial facilities located in
Manaus, in the state of Amazonas, COPAG
sends part of its production to the international market, exporting decks to
the United States as well as to different countries in Latin America.
| Innovation, competence,
technology and above all a continuous concern about the human being
integrate the daily routine at COPAG,
which has always concentrated efforts to keep its innovative position.
The greatest evidence of such efforts was the ISO 9002 Certificate,
which corroborates the quality of COPAG
products, put to test and approved in compliance with the most demanding
requirements of an international organization, worldwide renowned.

WARNING!!
As with any big craze that comes along, there are those who want to
spoil or cheat the system. Watch out for companies who have
bought a website that has www.copag (anything goes here).com.
They are popping up all over the place just like the poker chip
companies have. Please remember that these companies are just
resellers that are trying to make themselves look like the
manufacturer. It's a shame that some companies have to be
deceitful in order to sell something.
