Take a step back into history with our latest deck of
playing cards simply called, "Round Town." This Round
Town deck of playing cards takes on the look of years gone
by. Covering a span of over a hundred years, each card
face highlights a photo ranging anywhere from the late
1800's to 2004. From ice storms, floods and other
natural events to historical buildings, monuments and other
photos that bring out the unique history of Circleville,
Ohio. Not only does the deck feature historical photos,
but the face cards are designed the way "souvenir" playing
cards used to be! With the round photos, historical
facts and fun information the deck is designed to be what a
deck of souvenir cards should be...a souvenir. It
seems anymore when you find a deck of souvenir playing cards
they will have a unique photo on the back, but then have
normal faces. Using normal faces on the decks has
become a cheap way for manufacturers to get around what used
to be a wonderful collectible! This deck holds true to
history with 52 beautiful photos and 2 unique historical
maps.
The card back features original artwork from U.K. Playing
Card Artist, Peter Wood. Holding to our motto of
"Transforming the Playing Card Industry," the card back is
made in the unique playing card art form we call
"seek-n-find" art. This means that you can search for
hearts, clubs, diamonds and spades hidden in the picture on
the back of the cards. Of course what would a deck of
Circleville Playing Cards be without something "pumpkin!?"
That is why our scarecrow character is made with a Pumpkin
head.
Casino style playing cards with a black-out center make
this deck not only great for collecting, but great to play
with.
We are currently selling Edition 1.0 that has a printing
