Our mission is two-fold. First of all it is to encourage
the play of cards with family, friends and loved ones.
Playing card games is a great way to slow down and spend some
quality time with other folks. In our fast food, fast
paced world we need to be encouraged to slow down and enjoy the
moment. Catch our breath.
Our second mission is to encourage the hobby of collecting
playing cards. Playing cards are a wonderful, inexpensive
thing to collect and the options are unending. Playing
cards go back in to the history of human beings hundreds of
years and offer an educational experience for all ages.
Even if one does not collect antique playing cards there are
thousands of choices everyday, all around us.
Our purpose is to provide a fun-filled internet location that any man,

Please make sure that your browser supports cookies and
they are enabled. If it doesn't help, then try to order it from another
computer. If the problem occurs then contact us for further support.
Here are a few other reasons why checkout may not work
for you:
1) The address you are putting in does
not match what is on file at the credit card company. Sometimes folks
have moved or changed something. It must be the exact same thing that
is on file at the credit card company.
2) The date is put in incorrectly. Usually it is the year
that is put in wrong. It should be put in as a four digit number.
i.e. 2009
3) The card being used expires this
month. The bank will not allow a card to be processed that expires the
same month of the order.
4) The following scenarios may create a problem
for you:
- Apple Macintosh may not
work with our cart although with this new and updated site we are hearing
of this less.
- If you are working
behind a firewall.

items are priced in United States Dollars (USD). Newt's Cards accepts

Sales Tax Information

It is the policy of Newt's Cards to charge
applicable sales tax to all items delivered to Ohio addresses. Newt's Cards is not
responsible for additional tariffs or taxes that apply to items shipped to
other states or outside the United States.
Due to a "new" Ohio law, starting in 2005 we must collect
taxes depending on the county you reside in within Ohio.
Does Newt's give to charities?

We do often give to charities, but we are unable to give
to everyone who ask. Since playing cards have become such a HUGE
craze we are asked all the time to give to different charities.

Order Acceptance

The receipt of an e-mail confirmation does not
constitute the acceptance of an order or as a confirmation of an offer to
sell. Newt's Cards
reserves the right, without prior notification, to limit the order
quantity on any item. In order to protect the interests of our customers
all orders placed for over $1,000 must obtain pre-approval with an
acceptable method of payment, as established by our Commercial Credit
Department. Additional verification of information may be required prior
to the acceptance of any order.
How
long does my package take to arrive at its destination?

We process most orders within 72 business
hours (although 85% of orders placed by 12 Noon, EST ship the next day). Orders are shipped Monday
through Friday, excluding legal holidays. Orders which contain items
shipped directly from our supplier follow a unique shipping schedule.
Likewise, items that say "Please allow 2 weeks for shipment" mean that the
whole order will be held to ship as one. Within the U.S. please
allow 1-5 days AFTER the initial 72 business hours for our freight company to deliver the item to you.
There are times when an item is in high
demand and may take extra time to expedite. Please be sure to
to find out the status
of your order.
We ship out your packages many different
ways including, but not limited to, UPS, FedEx, DHL, and USPS. When
you you will see the
proper shipping method we used.
Items such as custom hot stamp and
photo playing cards are NOT shipped as fast. These items require
additional time to make and will ship in the time posted on that
particular item. The average time for custom items is anywhere from 5
to 15 business
days depending on the item. Please refer to the item description for
the exact time.
If your order is a HOT RUSH and you want us to try to
ship it today you need to call us at 1-740-474-4200 or 1-740-420-6024 and let us know.
Otherwise the normal policy is all hot rush orders placed after 9:00 AM
today, will be shipped tomorrow. Although the normal turn around
for orders is 24-72 business hours, we do try to get the HOT RUSH orders
out a faster.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are outside the
United States it will take longer.

All claims for missing items must be made within
10 days of the invoice date. Please note that orders consisting of more
than one brand may arrive on different days if the order contains
non-stock item(s). Check your packing slip to make sure you have a
shortage, not a delivery delay.

If the package looks damaged, inspect the package
for damage before signing for the delivery.
If the package is damaged but the merchandise
looks unaffected, note the damage on all delivery receipts before signing.
If the package is damaged to an extent the merchandise may be damaged,
refuse delivery and call our Customer Service at 1-740-474-4200 or
1-740-420-6024. If
you find an item damaged after delivery, retain shipping carton and all
packing material and call NewtsCards.com immediately.
Damaged goods may only be returned and exchanged for the
same item.

Newt's Cards
cannot accept change of shipping address requests after an order has been
processed. Should you require the modification of an address (missing
apartment or suite number, transposed street number etc.) please contact
us by phone at 1-740-474-4200 or 1-740-420-6024. Should you require a complete change of
“Ship To” information you will be required to cancel your order and
re-enter it. Newt's Cards
reserves the right to refuse shipment to temporary addresses (including
hotel or motel guest) without prior payment in full by check or money
order.
We cannot ship to a jail or prison.
Orders that have an incorrect address which have already
been shipped are subject to a $5 charge that is charged by UPS.
What
is an address correction charge?

Incorrect shipping addresses (wrong house #, wrong zip,
missing apartment #, etc) will incur a $5.00 charge for ground packages
if correction is made after package has shipped. Incorrect addresses may
also result in delayed delivery. Please double check your shipping
address for accuracy.
This fee is charged to us by UPS for incorrect addresses and will be
billed to the credit card your order was placed with. If you feel you
have been charged this fee in error, please
so we may dispute
the fee with the package delivery company. We appreciate your
understanding.
Cancellation Policy
Once an order has been placed, the order
cannot be cancelled unless the item(s) are out of stock and unable to
shipped. Refused or undeliverable shipments will be subject to a
restocking fee of 25%, plus applicable shipping charges both ways. Please
note, all cancellations are subject to a $5.90 fee to cover transaction

Hot Rush Orders
If your order is a HOT RUSH and you want us to try to ship it today you
need to call us at 1-740-474-4200 or 1-740-420-6024 and let us know. Otherwise the
normal policy is all hot rush orders placed after 9:00 AM (EST) today, will be
shipped tomorrow. Although the normal turn around for orders is
24-72 business hours, we do try to get the HOT RUSH orders out a little
faster.
Do you
ship outside the United States?
We have gone back and forth on this issue for some time
now.
As of the time you
are reading this page we are NOT shipping outside the US!
We know that many of you will not be happy that we
have once again discontinued shipping outside the US, but we had to do something.
Although we love to ship our cards around the world we are loosing our
tails.
Here are the main reasons we have had to discontinue this
service...again:
1) Customers wanted us to ship the package as a gift
so they wouldn't have to pay their local taxes or duties.
2) Customers complained because shipping was too
high.
3) A HUGE portion of our credit card and Paypal fraud
(almost 90%) comes
from orders placed outside the United States.
4) Customers would refuse a package because they did
not want to pay the custom charges.
5) Items were being taken out of the box before it
reached the customers.
6) We tried a 3-4 week "hold" on international
orders because of the fraud with both credit cards and Paypal but it
didn't work either. Folks just didn't like it but they just
couldn't understand that we were loosing our tails on fraud.
So please understand, as playing card collectors we love
to ship around the world, but we cannot stay in business and continue to
do it at this time. Sorry.

The liability of Newt's Cards for
losses or damages, arising out of any cause whatsoever, is limited to full
refund of the purchase price or at our option, repair or replacement of
the product (s). Newt's Cards
shall not be liable for any consequential or incidental damages. Some
states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply

Pack the items to return in the original shipping carton(s) and with
any original tags attached. Make sure no seals are torn or open.

Write the RA Number clearly on the outside
of the box, along with your name and return address. If we receive a box
without the RA number posted on the outside of the box, we will have to
refuse receiving the delivery.

Ship the returns to the address as instructed at the time when RA
number is issued to you. This is because items drop shipped from
original manufacturers may have to be sent to the manufacturer. Shipping
charges must be prepaid. (Items shipped C.O.D. will not be accepted.).
We recommend that you insure the item when shipping.

Upon the receiving of your
return, we will either exchange your item or issue you a store credit, excluding shipping costs.
International Returns: The customer is responsible for any additional duty, taxes and
insurance fees that may be assessed for returned items shipped
internationally. Shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer
for warranty replacements. The customer is also responsible for any
duty, tax and insurance for replacements.

not responsible for typographical error or omissions relating to pricing,
copy, photography or application. In the event of a pricing error Newt's Cards

Newt's Cards has
tried to maintain cost and keep prices low. Due to the fact that the
bulk of our product is under $10, many folks were ordering $4 worth of
product and asking us to ship it. This was killing us. Not
only could we not keep up, but it is extremely expensive to have a person
pack an order that doesn't even pay his wage, let alone make a profit.
We know to some that "profit" is a dirty word. We, however, believe
that our charity should be done at church and business should be just
that. *Business. If we do not make money, we do not stay in
business. It's that simple.
If you do not like our policy, we apologize and
thank you for understanding.
*NOTE: As a business we do support many
non-profits and special needs (like the hundreds of playing cards we send
to U.S. troops, local churches, charities and missions to name a few).
Why Don't you accept
American Express or Discover?

There are a number of reasons why we do not accept American Express or
Discover.
The primary reason is because their rates are WAY too high for the
product we sell. The second reason is they sit on our money for
twice as long as the other credit card companies before they deposit it
in to our account. The bottom line is, they do NOT make good
business sense for Newt's Playing Cards.
The big hit with Discover
is we have just a few customers who used their card in the first place
and now Discover made the choice to charge $10 to get a .50 cent paper
statement. We understand the cost of doing business, but Discover
has just made themselves illogical.
Newt's Cards is proud to carry one of
the most comprehensive lineup of fun collectibles, gifts and novelties for
the card player and collector. To
order our products online simply locate your selection either by browsing
through the product sections, or by using our "Search" feature to locate
an item.
Once you have located the item(s) you wish to purchase, simply press the
"Add Item to Cart" button for each item. This will create a shopping cart
for your order. You can view or change the contents of your shopping cart
at any time by pressing the "Shopping Cart" button on the top of every
screen. Once you have completed your shopping and are ready to check out,
choose the "Shopping Cart" button and select checkout. You will then
arrive at the registration page where you can create your own account.
Then complete the necessary fields to create your profile for future use.
You can also change any information on your order at this point. Please
make sure to hit the "Submit Info" button every time you add or modify any
information.
Once you have the order information exactly as you want it, choose the
"Submit Order" button. If all the information you supplied is valid, you
will see a new page asking what your preferred method of shipping is.
Choose the "submit" button again and you will get a new page asking you to
verify all the order information. It will also include an order number.
Please print this page or record this number for your records. *If you
do not see this page, your order was not placed. If any of the
information you provided was not valid, you will be returned to the order
entry form and asked to correct it.
Once your order has been successfully received, you will receive an e-mail
confirmation of your order. This will include a brief summary of your
order and Newt's Playing Cards contact information.

Yes, we understand that,
while none of our customers have ever had trouble with security on our
site, many of you still may not feel comfortable ordering over the

are My Shipping Options?

Once you place your order, shipping and handling
amounts are calculated based on the shipping method and the amount you
purchase. These totals are calculated with each order. We have a
normal minimum shipping charge of $8.95. In selecting your choice of
shipping methods, please keep in mind that the shipping charge is based on
weight of the product you order. The Item Total is calculated before
taxes, gift certificates and certain promotions.
